AMIGOS DE ANIMALES BOQUETE PANAMÁ SEPTEMBER 2021 NEWSLETTER
On Sunday August 29, Amigos de Animales spayed or neutered 186 animals, 72 dogs and 114 cats. We had 4 vets working. It was a long day and the cats just keep coming! At least we are finally beginning to be able to make a dent in our waiting list.

MOBILE CLINIC VAN Here it is, all decked out on outside. Now we just have to complete the fitting out the inside and we will be good to go! Thank you to everyone who donated and made this dream a reality.
VOLUNTEER HIGHLIGHT – JUDY SACCO
Judy is one of our longest serving volunteers. She not only works the clinics but is also a great foster mother. She has been caring for these newborns who need regular feeding by hand, since they sadly had lost their mother. Judy is the wet nurse and is doing a great job, the kittens are thriving! She is also a former board member and has been instrumental in getting grants from organizations. Thank you Judy!
CASINO NIGHT OCTOBER 23RD! We are very excited to be planning for another Casino Night. Carol has been busy lining up servers and dealers for this always fun event. Tickets are available at the Tuesday Market at the Feria, Mike’s Global Grill & MailBoxes Etc. For more info call: 6646-7289
2022 CALENDAR The 2022 has now been “put to bed” and will be available for sale sometime in late October. Stay tuned for more details as we know when it will be out. In the meantime, who will be on the cover??? Will it be these gorgeous pups?
CONTINUING EFFORT TO FEED THE LOCAL DOGS AND CATS We are continuing our campaign to raise money to feed the dogs and cats in Boquete and we still need your help! Our campaign to raise $15,000 to feed dogs and cats in Boquete continues. To date, we have raised $8,805 towards our goal.

TIDBITS: – We have decided to postpone our “non-raffle” fundraiser until early 2022. – Animales is always looking for stories and pictures to share in this newsletter. Please contact Alicia at akcleavenger@hotmail.com if you are interested. – We are looking for volunteers to help with social media and fundraising ideas. You do not need to be in Panama to help.
